Safety at Smash Room Prague: what we do before you start

Protective equipment for every visitor

Before entering the destruction zone, you will receive a helmet, goggles, gloves and a coverall. All parts of the equipment must be used at all times, as shards and small fragments are created when the glass is broken.

Own sturdy closed shoes are mandatory. Sandals, open shoes or bare feet are not suitable for the experience.

Instruction and behavior in the destruction zone

Before the start, the operator will explain where to aim, how to hold individual tools and what distance other participants must keep. The guidelines aren't a formality — they help keep the flow predictable even when the pace picks up.

• use the tool only as intended
• others must stand at a safe distance when struck
• do not remove protective equipment during activity
• entry is not possible under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Why there are no electronics in the Smash Room

Electronics may contain batteries, capacitors, dust, toners or other components that are not suitable for mechanical breaking. Discarded electrical equipment is also subject to special rules for waste management.

That is why we use glass and other objects whose material and construction can be assessed in advance. We always approve the subject before the visit.

What can the visitor do for a safe course

Arrive on time, tell the staff about health or mobility restrictions and don't overestimate your strength. Smash Room is not a competition. A shorter and controlled swing is better for first experience than a maximum swing without confidence.
